W\u00e4hrend bis dato Feldbahnlokomotiven vorwiegend mit Kupplung und Schaltgetriebe ausger\u00fcstet wurden, geh\u00f6rt diese Lok zu einer fr\u00fchen Vertreterin einer hydraulischen Kraft\u00fcbertragung. Mit Hilfe eines Drehmomentwandlers des amerikanischen Herstellers TwinDisc und einem im Stillstand zu bet\u00e4tigen 2-Gang Vorschaltgetriebe wurde stufenlos eine H\u00f6chstgeschwindigkeit von 8 bzw. 15 km\/h erreicht. 1966 erhielt die Lokomotive bei einem Revisionsaufenthalt bei Sch\u00f6ma ein vergr\u00f6\u00dfertes F\u00fchrerhaus. 1978 wurde die Lok bei Diema revidiert und erhielt eine Hydraulikpumpe und Hydraulikanschl\u00fcsse f\u00fcr den Kippbetrieb mit den zeitgleich bei DIEMA angeschafften Hydraulikkippern. 1995 konnte das MFM die Lokomotive nach Einstellung des Feldbahnbetriebes bei Kuhfu\u00df \u00fcbernehmen und restaurieren.
