Konkrete Eins\u00e4tze dieser Lokomotive bei Firma Tappe sind nicht \u00fcberliefert. Es ist jedoch anzunehmen, dass die Lok f\u00fcr Erdtransporte auf gr\u00f6\u00dferen Tiefbaustellen eingesetzt war, die zu dieser Zeit \u00fcberwiegend mit Feldbahnen durchgef\u00fchrt wurden. Nach Gr\u00fcndung der \u201eHaddorfer Sand- und Kieswerke Inh. August Nottek\u00e4mper\u201c in Wettringen-Haddorf im Jahre 1954 erwarb Herr Nottek\u00e4mper diese Lok. Da Sch\u00f6ma 204 die \u00e4lteste Lokomotive im Bestand war, nannte August Nottek\u00e4mper diese liebevoll \u201eOma\u201c. Mit weiteren Lokomotiven versah Sch\u00f6ma 204 \u00fcber Jahrzehnte mit Kipploren den Transport von Sand und Kies zwischen der Kiesgewinnung am See zu der zwei Kilometer entfernten Lkw-Verladung.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1972 wurde der Feldbahn\u00adbetrieb eingestellt und diese Lok verschwand mit weiteren f\u00fcr lange Zeit im Lokschuppen. Dem Seniorchef ist es zu verdanken, dass die Lokomotiven nicht den Weg des alten Eisens gegangen sind, sondern weiterhin gepflegt, geschmiert und gelegentlich betrieben wurden. So fand das M\u00fcnsterl\u00e4ndische Feldbahnmuseum in Rheine 1984 diese technisch weitgehend originale Lokomotive vor.
