O&amp;K \u00fcbernahm dieses Werk 1912 von der Montania AG vormals Gerlach &amp; K\u00f6nig, die bereits seit 1907 Motorlokomotiven baute und damit als Pionier im Bau von Motorlokomotiven gelten kann. Die neue Firmenbezeichnung lautet &#8222;Orenstein &amp; Koppel, Arthur Koppel, Maschinenfabrik Montania, Nordhausen&#8220;, ab 1916 nur noch &#8222;Orenstein &amp; Koppel AG &#8211; Nordhausen&#8220;. Bis zum kriegsbedingten Ende der Produktion 1942 wurden \u00fcber 9.000 Lokomotiven gebaut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unsere 7165 wurde neu an das Tief- und Stra\u00dfenbauunternehmen August Donnerberg in Lingen\/Ems geliefert. Konkrete Eins\u00e4tze sind nicht bekannt, aber die Lok wird sich bei Erdtransport im Rahmen von Bauma\u00dfnahme bew\u00e4hrt haben.
