Jahrhunderts Pressluftlokomotiven etabliert, die eine besonders sichere Betriebsweise unter Tag erm\u00f6glichten. Vorteilhaft war das Fehlen jeder W\u00e4rmentwicklung unter Tage und auch die kalte Abluft der Pressluftlokomotiven verbesserte das Grubenklima. In den Druckluftflaschen wurde Luft gespeichert, die anf\u00e4nglich \u00fcber klassische, dem Dampflokomotivbau entlehnten Zylindern ihre Kraft an die Antriebsr\u00e4der der Lokomotive abgaben. Mit einer Luftf\u00fcllung waren damit 3 bis 6 km Fahrt m\u00f6glich.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unsere Demag-Druckluftlokomotiven wurde im Umfeld der Sch\u00e4chte 3 (Inbetriebnahme 1914) und 4 (Inbetriebnahme 1924) des Bergwerks Minister Achenbach in L\u00fcnen f\u00fcr die Hauptstreckenf\u00f6rderung eingesetzt. Urspr\u00fcnglich mit 4 Druckluftflaschen ausger\u00fcstet, erfolgte aus Gr\u00fcnden der besseren Streckensicht des Lokf\u00fchrers 1941 der Umbau auf drei Druckluftflaschen. Nach Au\u00dferbetriebnahme wurde vier Druckluftlokomotiven der Einfachheit halber unter Tage belassen und in einem stillgelegten Streckenabschnitt nahe dem Schacht 4 eingemauert. Beim Aufschluss des Fl\u00f6z Victoria stie\u00df man auf die eingemauerten Lokomotiven und verbrachte vor 1966 mindestens ein Exemplar \u00fcber Schacht 5 nach \u00fcber Tage. Am Schacht 1\/2 erfolgte die Aufarbeitung der Lokomotive und Aufstellung als Denkmal vor dem Verwaltungsgeb\u00e4ude des Bergwerks.
