Viel \u00e4lter ist das Fortbewegen der Wagen mit Muskelkraft. So praktiziert seit mindestens 400 Jahren in den Bergwerken unter Tage, auch im Erz- und Steinkohlenbergbau im Ibbenb\u00fcrener Revier. Wo menschliche Kraft nicht mehr ausreichte, fanden Pferde als &#8222;Zugmittel&#8220; Einzug in die Bergwerke und auf die Feldbahnen. Erst das Aufkommen leistungsf\u00e4higer und betriebssicherer Lokomotiven seit Ende des 19.
