Hier ist die Sammlungsvielfalt entstanden, die uns heute ausmacht. Der Standort hatte immer einen provisorischen Charakter, denn aufgrund milit\u00e4rischer Restnutzung und Altlastenverdacht war eine \u00f6ffentlichkeitswirksame Nutzung kaum m\u00f6glich. Genutzt wurden ca. 1.000 qm Hallenfl\u00e4che als Werkstatt, Schaudepot und Lager. Im Laufe der Zeit sind ca. 500 m Gleisanlage entstanden, die verschiedene Punkte des wunderbar verwilderten Gel\u00e4ndes miteinander verbunden hat. Eine K\u00fcndigung des Mietvertrages aufgrund geplanter, aber nie ernsthaft realisierter milit\u00e4rischer Reaktivierung des Gel\u00e4ndes f\u00fchrte zu einem Ende der Nutzung.
